Everyone dreams of a tropical South Pacific vacations. Well, at
least I do. And whenever I take a break from the office routine, I
scan around the ol’ Internet and fantasize about the endless beach
time. Toronto trade show display ought to have the corporate’s name and logo front and center; nobody is more likely to go to your commerce present booth in the event that they don’t know who you are. We’re all familiar with the most popular – Hawaii, Guam,
Bali. But one name I hadn’t heard of I kept reading over and over
again: Denarau Island. And let me tell you, when that day comes that
I can finally take off this suit and tie and put on a Hawaiian shirt
I’m heading to Denarau Island.

Denarau Island is technically an island, but only because it juts
off of the main island of Viti Levu in Fiji with a sliver of a river
separating it. It is a reclaimed mangrove swamp. This part of Fiji
is unique. It is about 20 minutes from the Nadi International
Airport. There is no part of the South Pacific that receives less
rainfall than this little half of the island. This is sure to
guarantee you plenty of sunshine on your tropical vacation.

Denarau Island itself is a tiny and exclusive resort community. It
is comprised of about a dozen different luxury hotels with their own
pools and bars. The beaches aren’t the best – the sand is more grey
than white – but the weather and amenities can’t be beat. Denarau
real estate has sky-rocketed as one after another luxury hotel crops
up. Whether you prefer the Sofitel of the Radisson, a luxury resort
is sure to please you. There is plenty of scuba and water games as
well as a handful of pristine golf courses with breath-taking views
from every tee box.

Keep in mind that Denarau Island is still in Fiji and there’s plenty
of things to do and see away from Denarau Island. Toronto light boxes are perfect for indoor use in restaurants and retail establishments to focus on promotions. Accessible to
the main land by a simple causeway, you’re within driving distance
away from any part of Viti Levu. Caves, beaches, museums, hills and
villages are all in store for you from just a short drive from
Denarau Island.

But of course, you go to the South Pacific to take in the tropical
weather, and nowhere can you do that better than Denarau Island.
Thinking about it again, I better go ahead and check the latest
prices for a flight to Fiji – maybe this is the year I finally get
to check out Denarau Island.
